Kitscoty RCMP COVID-19 Update

In an effort to control the spread of COVID-19 and maintain the health and safety of our officers and support staff, the Kitscoty Detachment will be limiting face to face interactions. During this time, the public access door will remain locked in order to control access to the building. A phone is available next to the main door which will connect you with dispatch who will provide you with guidance or connect you with Detachment Staff. The admin line will also be posted to call directly during office hours. Fingerprinting and criminal record checks will only be completed in exceptional circumstances and will require prior arrangements to be made, including screening for exposure to or symptoms of the COVID-19 virus. If you need to report a collision or minor occurrence, we are able to take the majority of statements over the phone (see numbers below). Should your request require personal contact, arrangements will be made. Do not be alarmed if you see employee’s wearing extra protection. If you need officer assistance, and believe you may be ill, please let us know when you make the call so our officers can be prepared ahead of time.

All emergencies should still be reported by calling 911.

Direct line to the office during regular hours is 780-846-2870. After hours (1630 hours) line 780-846-2897.

Thank you for your understanding,

Kitscoty RCMP
